I’m finding them moving in to creeks kind deep not real sure how deep. But I’ll launch 1/2oz ratltrap or Cordell in red craw. Cast let it as far as possible, scratch you balls while it sinks. Then one had jerk, 3 second pause, two subtle twitches. Theve been hitting it on the twitches but Iva had a few follow the slow craw (pause the a subtle jerk and let sink). I’ve been trying to figure out the jerk bait but it’s hard when I have confidence and a few others lol. 5 bass on 9 cast today

I fished that first pond for 30 minutes or so this afternoon (Thursday). I only fished the end with the reeds and got a couple strikes on a weightless Senko, but they weren’t really eating. A couple twisted the worm on the hook, but they weren’t eating it enough to expose the Texposed hook point.

Yeah I haven’t really gotten on a crazy bite there recently. I need to find some new ponds for the Spring!

Thanks for the content, glad you caught something! Looking forward to getting out to our local ponds soon as well. Watched this one with the wife and she thought it was the most entertaining commentary so far with you getting the jerk bait hooked on your sleeve and then getting tangled in the line.

Thanks man! I appreciate the comment!

I love those rapala jerkbaits. They produce over and over again. I'm glad to see you got something at the old honey hole. I'm sure hoping that goes back to the way it was. I went out with my son yesterday by me and got 21 on a wacky worm. That never disappoints either. Hopefully the crank bite picks up soon. I have a bunch if new ones I want to try. I appreciate what you do.

21 fish is insane! Maybe I need to be throwing the wacky rig more!

Found your channel the other day. Don’t recognize any of those ponds. Have you ever tried Como? It’s been a long while for me but would like to meet you there if you want. Gotta a few videos out there as well.

What is Como? I’ve never heard of it

I never have any luck at como. And theres still so much brush on the shore line its hard to cast without getting snagged. They drained it recently. It was restocked but I doubt any of the fish are mature yet.

@@akik0sanI’ve had some luck there but I haven’t fished it since the new bridge. I always get in my kayak and I usually catch bass where bank fishers can’t get to.

I was corrected by a company rep once. It's pronounced rap-lah, not rah-pahl-la. The middle letter a is pronounced so fast and short that it is almost silent.

Like Rapla? It’s one of those things that everyone will say different haha. Just like caramel
