Caught my PB on shore but it's a post spawn biggin though....pre spawn...easily 6lb. My pb out of phalen is 5' 9

It is deep at 91 feet in it's deepest spot, bur there are many deeper places in the state.Portsmouth Mine Pit Lake is over 450 feet deep !!

It's one of the deepest lake in MN but it's not the deepest. Not many lakes in MN with a depth of 91 though.

This would be a good video if they actually talked about how and what they are fishing. Weak montage for a 6+ hour day but it’s not helping anyone…

Anyone who fishes phalen lake knows that the lake has deep rocks for most of the ledges/drops around the lake. Deep weeds had been removed so the fish will school up and cruise around the lake, making it very hard to locate mobile schools and fish in general. We will not give out exact spots, as that ruins the fun and fulfillment of finding your own fish.
