That’s right, the w7 is an extremely accurate, high output, silent killer.

That's what they were designed for in the early 2000's. They are meant for sound Quality. They are 3 ohms a pop at 250-500 watts rms.

I have the 8w7 in my center console in my van. Rear facing on an xd600-1. So right at 500 watts. I designed it to look like a center console but it’s obviously not. Also rear facing you can’t see it. Focal k2 power series 3way in doors and custom fiberglassed a pillars. Zapco 8 channel dsp.

What's the subsonic filter at? It's not really catching that 7Hz note very well. It's the best note on the song.

When I have it in a box I’ll upload another performance video. Free air is easy to over power and exceed excursion parameters. Gotta be careful

@@jimjones3287 I am not going to start an argument with you here. Neither I am going to complain to any companies, because they knows their stuffs. But you do not. I will try to educate you a little. Let's start from the scratch. At the base level. No 1 - which instrument in the world can produce 7 hz note ?. Then again if humans can't hear below 20Hz then this instrument must have been from heavens. No 2 - Suppose(only suppose) if the instrument can produce 7 Hz note, now which microphone in the world can record a 7hz note ? No 3- Again Suppose, if the microphone can record a 7hz note, which amp in the world can reproduce a frequency 7hz note ? No 4 - now again suppose, if the amp is able to reproduce a 7hz note, then which speaker in this world can reproduce a 7hz note ? Again remember, all those equipment above should have been engineered to exist to record and produce a 7hz note, when human can't hear below 20hz. What a Fun Fact. If you have told some 17hz to 18hz, I wouldn't bother much. But 7hz ? So moral of the story: " Little knowledge is dangerous "

@@Jamy4ya 1. It's an electronic synthesizer or sine wave generator (from earth not heaven) 2. Any mic can pick up the mechanical noise of the speaker making that note 3. Almost all amps and subs can produce this frequency 4. Just search on you tube, this sub and hundreds others can reproduce that 7hz sine wave and even a 1hz sine wave It's not about hearing those notes it's about the subwoofer pushing air (making sound pressure) from those notes. (You must be new to subwoofer audio) Thank you for your awesome education! I learned so much. Moral of the story: you have zero clue what you're talking about but nice essay.

@@Jamy4ya there's nothing to argue about you bum it's called an electronic synthesizer and all amps and subs are capable of playing to 1hz you won't hear the sound but you'll feel the air move. Subwoofer 101. You have zero clue about this topic but thank you for your "education." 😴

if i wired up an entire 10x10 wall of 100 of these subs, 500w each at 2-3 ohms, would it be half decent? (theoretically)

define half decent. also another consideration is the cost would be enormous for 100 of these subwoofers as the cost for 1 JL 8w7 is around $700.

@@cunninglycalculated4583 yeah so itd cost £70,000. i take out a bank loan, build a huge box around it for another £10,000 ish, and a lil pa system to go with it. I open it up as a tourist attraction in the usa and bam money will come flying in (i know this is the worst business plan even introduced to mankind.)

@@Ahm-Creative I’ve gotten a quote already for instal since I’m only able to do very basic ones. But my installer is vacationing in Mexico right now, it’s a celebration month out there rn and he won’t be back till about first week of September.. it’s definitely taken way longer then expected and I’m loosing a little motivation over it

@@SQ_Silverado Oh man...I feel you on the lack of motivation, but maybe you can run your wires while you wait for him to return. Maybe doing that, if you haven't already, can get you excited about your system again.
