BASS Nation Ohio Kayak Fishing Championship on Hoover Reservoir Ohio

I was lucky enough to qualify for the 2024 Ohio BASS Nation Kayak Championships (where the top 8 finishers then qualify to fish on Lake Fork for the BASS Kayak Championships at the Bassmaster Classic!) due to the anglers ahead of me on the list having prior obligations and I was thrilled to get the experience on an Ohio lake (Hoover Reservoir) that I hadn't gotten to see yet. Hoover is really low right now and that left a lot of bare rocky shoreline to cover looking for a bite on a pressured lake. I ended up with one 17.25" largemouth bass which put me finishing 19th/24 anglers.
