Got to be honest. I was catching way more fish before i watched your videos or anyone elses.... Too much time watching videos and not enough time fishing. If you've an occasion to come fishing Dingle Peninsula give me a shout. I can take you SUP fishing. It's a little less comfortable than the kayak. Or off the rocks or beaches. Very happy to share and definitely even more so to learn.

Ha, sorry about that 😂😂 I appreciate the offer, must not be too easy to fish of a sup but it looks very cool. I'm sure it's a great craic when you're on some fish there

I was just bass fishing in Croatia and switching between "regular" bass lures and flies on a bombarda but agonising over the decision between the two setups. I wish I'd seen your teaser fly video before I went!

Marcin out of curiosity, is your rod with the cork handles a Favorite Skyline TZ pls? Getting a 7ft 6in version as I was blown away by the feel of it, cannot wait to use it for topwater lures.

Please ignore me as I am a numpty, I have just read the details of the tackle you used and it is the Skyline.

Gread vid. What's the idea of lashing the two kayaks together ? Besides being able to chat while fishing, was there any advantage e.g. slowing down the drift or was it just for filming purposes ?
@MarcinKantor2 жыл бұрын
no benefits like that. David tends to do it when guiding less experienced anglers to pass on the knowledge etc. We wanted to show what a guided session would look like. Also helps with filming :)

@finsnapper2 жыл бұрын
If you suffer with wind knots? Pour fresh water over the braid before you start fishing, give it a good soaking. The wet braid doesn't react the same way.
@MarcinKantor2 жыл бұрын
Good advice sir, but those Penns David was using are notoriously known for causing bad wind knots. I was just pulling his leg lightly showing how trouble free the twin power is 😉
@finsnapper2 жыл бұрын
@@MarcinKantor indeed. I have a spinfisher 2500 and a slammer 3500. Underfill slightly and wet them down. Haven't had a wind knot I 18 months. 😎 Love the vids btw.

I believe in natural colours but I believe more in working the lure as a injured baitfish. Like twitching the rod on the retrieve, pause repeat.

Flatten the barbs on your hooks! Less damage and suffering to the fish and easier unhooking. Come on, get with it.
