Still the best talharpa I've ever heard. Nikon B. truly knows his craft well. Edit: And of course I must give credit to the player as well ;)

I hate to necro this reply, but have you considered offering lessons? Like a two or three week course? I would happily fly to hub wherever you are to learn the subtleties of your technique.@@alravi8707

This is awesome, im in the process of making one so quick question. What are you using for strings? Are they cello strings or?
@alravi8707
@alravi8707 6 ай бұрын
Thanks! This is Nylon string. It sounds the same as horse hair to my mind. But better resistant to cold.

@@alravi8707 sweet, thanks. Aye I've heard of people using a number of things but nylon makes sense. Easier to source too

@@billykiddcolman2233 Nylon hair about 0,10 - 0,20mm thick is my recommendation.

Any way you can elaborate your vibrating string length as well as how many hairs per string? I cannot get mine to produce notes down the whole string like this no matter what. I'm tuned in A3, D3, A2 right now... id love to tune more like yours.

Its about 80 cm length. First string 36 hairs, second had 80 and third 140. Usually i am tuned in either: DAD, EBE or FCF And stroke really gently when hitting a high note (not in a wrong way, dirty man). Otherwise it would sound like a crow dying.

Dude! You're awesome! I wish I could play this instrument, but I have a physical disability, so I am just going to do it vicariously through you now... Hope you don't mind! Hahaha My D&D character plays a bass tagelharpa he found and I was searching for some clips to use to represent his playing for myself and the group. You are up there with if not the best I have seen playing this instrument in my youtube deep-dive! Do you take song requests? lol

Hey man. Such a awesome comment. I hope you will slay a lot of monsters dragons with that tagelharpa! ;) Lassi Logrén and Nikon B. are the best to my humble opinion. That would be my request.

Hello. I also want to make talharpa, but the only thing I don't know is how to make it bass. Or do you only need the right notes?
