They're truly wireless and so it wouldn't pick very low bass lines if you want that go for the headphones and if you want a lot of bass go for the Skullcandy crushers... They're like head thundering. But if you want balanced sound with good bass, go for the xb series headphones.

Not necessarily, on my Alienware m17x R4 I tested in Adobe Audition generating a tone, it can output as low as 20Hz however it is fairly quite, it's easily noticeable from 100Hz though. Even had it go up to 20,000Hz.

Haha, rad! I couldn't hear anything until about 6.5 seconds. Assuming the sweep is linear in freq./time (it sounds like it), that puts my ear/subwoofer frequency response at about 25-30Hz, depending on if the tone starts exactly at 0 or later. Cool test, might use it to help tune my car stereo system :D

I heard sound throughout until the credits started on the vid. I'm assuming that's when the sound test was over? Using my £100 headphones. On my £15 generic brand earphones the sounds started about 5 seconds in. But of course the sound quality is far better on the headphones.
