Asking for help is not inherently worship without conditions. Lol. If it was, then asking your teacher for help or calling 911 would be major shirk, regardless of conditions or your beliefs or intentions, etc...

Your understanding of what constitutes shirk is false. If I ask an alive person to grant me something that is in his ability, this isn't shirk. If I ask a dead person to grant me something whilst they can't hear us, let alone grant us something that isn't in their ability, that is shirk. Aisha reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said during his illness from which he did not recover, “Allah has cursed the Jews and Christians, who have taken the graves of their prophets as places of worship.” Aisha said, “Were it not for that, his grave would have been in a prominent place, but it was feared that it would be taken as a place of worship.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 1390, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 529 Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi (authenticity agreed upon) according to Al-Bukhari and Muslim. Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “O Allah, do not turn my grave into an idol that is worshiped. Allah has cursed people who take the graves of their prophets as places of worship.” Source: Musnad Aḥmad 7352 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Ahmad Shakir. Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Let one of you ask his Lord for his needs, all of them, even for a shoestring when his breaks.” Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3973 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Suyuti

@@spawnnpwn4166 if I ask a deaf person for help in this dunya, is that shirk?

@@stephen42red27 Your speech will be conveyed using 'Isharah. Asking the deaf person to grant you something that is beyond their capability will be shirk.

@@stephen42red27 "I can't grant you a child, only Allah can" is different to "I can't help you lift this object because I have muscle ache" You asking the dead is like asking an armless person to lend you a hand.
