for a huge portion of scandinavians, basshunter was the first electronic music they ever heard.. i think BH's early songs are a perfect distillation of the electronic trends around 2005-2010, all the popular traits of the time in northern europe are just smashed together. Always gonna love basshunter, at the time of writing this im 27, and i first heard boten anna in the third grade.

I've been a fan of Basshunter since 2009, and I don't understand how some people dislike his "New" music I agree its different but I can assure you they are still enjoyable to listen to! But it is absolutely no doubt refreshing to listen to his old style again

It's because of poor promotional tactics and the fact he has become so underrated among the EDM artists of today. He's still awesome at making his songs but because he's tied up with doing only concerts and gigs, the promotion of his material is lacking.
