Chauhan sab one can not imagine how this happened in an unexpected way...everybody here n there in ur area which is now Pakistan was living happily but all of sudden all things happened....our elders were telling us how they had friendly n cordial relations with Muslims....In the last i would like to say that every Muslim was not killer of Sikhs or Hindus n every Sikh was not killer of every Muslim but only few bad elements from both sides did it.... I was born in Lyallpur and can relate to the narrative of the video as my family migrated from Chak JB 27 (Waddi 27) to Ferozepur, then moved to Delhi to Patiala to Jalandhar and now finally to Canada. My Grand mother and mother never accepted our new village in India their own and always talked about Chak 27, Lyallpur Lahore and Gujranwala. My mother was born and raised in Gujranwala and after marriage she lived in Chak 27 and Lyallpur with the family before the partition. May Waheguru, Allah, God bless all the departed souls on both sides of the divide who suffered for this unfortunate event in the history of Punjab. Jithay we raho jeonde wasde raho. Allah tuhanu sabh nu hamesha khush te abad rakhe. Rabb Rakha.

I am happy also on hearing about the history of Hoshiarpur district, the various basias...especially on mentioning Basee Daulat Khan...i haven't been to Basee Daulat khan, but my origins--father and forefather hails from here...My great grandfather's was a renowned figure,raised a school,also known as Masterjee as he teaches during his life time.His name was Ghulam Muhammad...His father was Haji Imamuddin(known as Baba Basia)...He got seven brothers... My father(as a lad those times)with my granddad/and families during the partition, migrate to Gujranwala, before ultimately settled in Indonesia, where i was brought up.
