Man that first spot you hit, the rock pile- I've caught so many fish there it's unreal. That said- not this year- this has to be my worst season ever. The rain is kicking my but man, I never have done well in flooded or muddy water- and that's all i can find. Even when the lakes were down for spring though- I just couldn't connect this year for some reason. It's killing me, this is after the best season i ever had- last year, I kicked ass. Caught my two largest bass all year in Dec. Then it started raining and storming and hasn't quit yet- we just had 8 solid days of storms.

Bob, thank you for the kind words. I believe my faith was tested that day, and I'm not going to lie, I wasn't sure what to do. I just trusted that little voice and it worked. Maybe that decision will be the difference in making the Elites.

That was freaking awesome brother, idk if you can see my profile pic or not but that was a cull I made in a 377 boat tourney after having 5 little ones like in the picture after 2 and we had to be at weigh in at 330 and I kept grinding when my partner was ready to load up already lol.. ended up catching another 8 right before we had to be in. I truly believe in grinding till the last minute possible
