Did any of you comment hounds watch the whole thing? Yes there was some FFS watching but those guys didn’t do as good at least on day 1 as the old school flipping and pitching boys. I live in Vt and have fished Champlain my whole life. Those smallmouth this time of year have always been out there chasing bait roaming around doing their thing. We used to just go throw drop shots or pull a ball and chain (Carolina rig) around around and catch them. I’ve never used FFS but after watching all these guys do it, let them do it. You can’t make them bite just because you see them. The largemouth boys seem to be the way to go! I know they all have the same technology so let’s see who the best of best is with all the tricks and techniques and technologies! Keep on smacking them boys!
