Arizonian here we eat prickly pear cactus a lot usually I eat the actual fruit on the Cactus it’s so good! If you eat the cactus pad it’s best to take the skin off then grill it! Love the videos!

Mexicans eat a cactus we call them "Nopales" use the knife to cut the top layer of skin. you can also give them a light roast over an open flame. They have a pickle like flavor and they are always generally kind of slimy you can make a salsa with them too. Just look up "Nopales" if you want to see different ways of preparing them.

Go to a good mexican restaurant that makes cactus with beef. Its good. Or buy a pico de gallo with nopales ( cactus ). You can also get the whole catus and cook it over a wood fire.

Cooking the cactus. You will need to peel the outer skin of the cactus and sauté it first then add your fish.
