If you wrap some dental floss on the hook then a drop of superglue on the floss then put your minnow on you’ll not lose your minnow

I little tip using the gulp minnows. Use smaller goat minnow. You won't lose as many. Besides a smaller sometimes is better

Man I'm with you - fished a lake that has tigers in it and tried everything I could... ended up catching a limit of rainbows. Got a few bites on soft plastics that might have been tigers though. BTW nice BYU shirt ;)

Rapala lures. Go for the Countdown or Countdown Elite series in 5, 7 or 9cm variations. Trout patterns work well, as do minnow patterns like the Vairon or Muddler. Good luck!!
