Firstly, Bravo Catalin!!! Now, 2021 Piazzola's 100 years birthday, and of course Bottesini's 200 years. Do you think in something special, in order to celebrate both Composers birth??? Have a nice new year!!!

I guess it will all depend on the virus situation.... Happy New year

most people play on 3/4 basses both solo and in orchestra; the 4/4 is used almost exclusively in orchestra. Thanks for listening!

I use 2 Flat Chrome steel on the upper 2 and Spirocore in bass. You need to keep adjusting the height of the bridge until you find the proper string action.

well interpreted maestro! may i know what strings were you using? i have problems with my bass setup.. i cant seem to change strings comfortably at thumb positions, is it because of the string tension or is it because of the bridge? I've tried adjusting my bridge to a shorter height but the string now vibrates and hit the fingerboard

Maestro, I play cello but i want to have a double bass just for fun, I see more basses 3/4 than 4/4 to sell... Its common an Ochestral bassist to use a 3/4? and a soloist? Or they all use 4/4? Thank ou in advance!

Lástima que a veces el sonido del piano molesta al del contrabajo.
