I'm not sure if they recently updated the game to give us different results from what the video showed us. But while screwing around with the game today, I found out that Lucario can not only go over the ledge, but he can also grab it. What I did was use the two jumps and waited until he was around one meter from the ground (about his height from head to toe) and used extremespeed going parallel with the ground. To be able to grab the ledge, you have to hold the analog stick in the opposite direction at the last moment of the move. At that point, he'll make a full 180 degree turn and safely grab the ledge. Tl;dr: He can grab the ledge.

All of these corrections are for PM because Not brawl hahaha. Yoshi can reverse Egg edge grab for INCREDIBLE recovery. You can reverse side B with DK in the middle of fd so that you can grab ledge after you up B. Lucario can make it, just go straight sideways instead of diagonal. Triangulation is important. You can make it with ike, if you do it right he will reverse ledge grab the edge with his side special. Olimar can do it if you reverse up b you could even grab ledge. Had some doubts and just tried them.

Btw, toon link being a nine is definitely not true in P:M. AGT and bomb jumping make him able to go so much farther and higher. Ideally, you can actually stay in the air forever with bomb jumping. (Note: bomb jumping is when you AGT up, then up B into your own bomb, while DIing up. You can then pull out another bomb, and repeat.)
