Tungsten exactly what's needed if your firing one of these at a Russian tank. Otherwise its just marketing hype. That said it looks like a good lure.

It’s my fav topwater lure to fish also...love the bone color on cloudy days, and full metal or American Shad on sunny days. One thing I’m trying to figure out about the lure is that in certain winds, the shower blows will helicopter in the air to give you a short cast, while at other times it launches like a rocket for a super long cast. I tried substituting a Molix double snap in place of the split ring, but that created the helicopter effect more frequently. I’m going to try a smaller split ring instead of the stock one...it seems like the more play at the nose/line tie, the greater the chances for the lure to helicopter .... I could remove the split ring altogether and tie my line to the lure’s eye, but it seems that would create a lot of friction on the knot while the bait is walking/spitting like crazy

Yes. Taking off that split ring will also reduce the action of the bait a bit. I think it all depends on the release!

buy from JDM websites, they sell Evergreen original hooks, or you can buy Ichikawa treble, they are the same, just different coating colors
