So sad to see such a beautiful and historic building fall into such a terrible state of disrepair. I spent six very happy years of my life there, four as a student and two on the teaching staff until it closed in 1986.

The library was just beautiful. I could live in a library. Love the old fashioned ones. If I had a bunch of $$$ I sure would try to bring this college back to life. Especially the library.

This is a massive collection of buildings. I can only imagine the dozens of priestly young men getting lost in its warren of corridors. Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men!

I went to school here 1984 to 85. Cannot tell you what it feels like 35 years later living in nyc and looking back on this little. Now in touch with a few who went there..

Did you know, if you a thin sheet of card that can slip under the door, a key can be pushed out of the keyhole the otherside onto the card and pulled under the door. Those locked doors with handles, pick one of the handles that are left on the side thats been taken out and put it in the hole of one that looks locked, chances are its not locked, just no handle, once the handle on your side has been put in you can open it. BUT don't let it shut!! Keep hold of a spare in case to get out.

Parts of the building are still in use. The chapel is actually the parish church for the area.

This building is not abandoned. While part of it is not in use the rest contains a museum which is open at weekends and the chapel is in use daily.

I was a student here from 1966-1970. The exterior has changed very little, the interior has but still many areas are recognisable. Is the building still haunted?

Nothing is abandoned in Britain it is either on the market or awaiting refurbishment. We now have several criminal gangs doing this and how much are they stealing of camera putting in their back packs.

I know of 3 abandoned places with 15mins of me here in Wis. Granted there just old farm houses. Also that's just within 15mins. I know of alot of others in other parts of Wis.

Now I'm seeing that a lot of buildings in Scotland are abandoned because people are conscious that something bad will going to happen.Will be the reduction of population.Who was clever and knows the reality now is hiding in safe places.

There aren't really as many as these videos would suggest - it's just that these guys use the term 'abandoned' to justify both breaking and entering and rummaging around other folk's property and belongings...
