Though the 39-year-old star split with Tristan after a string of cheating scandals, Khloe revealed that she's now "on really good terms" with her ex-boyfriend. Khloe, who shares children True, 6 months, and Tatum, 21 months, with the sports star, told the SHE MD podcast: "(But) he's the nicest guy and we get on great. It's great now." We weren't supposed to be together, but he was supposed to be the father of these kids. I was very close with both of my parents, so I'm very grateful for that.
Khloe actually did everything she could to maintain a good relationship with Tristan after their breakup. Khloe previously admitted it would have been easier to distance herself from the NBA star given his paternity scandal.
In an interview with Tmrw magazine, she explained: "Would it really be that easy for Tristan and I to just never speak to him again and just say bad things about him? Certainly. But being good is much harder. It's even harder when you're really angry at someone, and it's really hard to sit down in their face in front of your kids and say, 'Hi!'"
In 2021, it was revealed that Tristan had fathered a son with Mallory Nichols, but Khloe has no regrets about how she responded to the scandal.
She said: "I had to learn how to control my emotions. "There have been many times when I let my emotions get the better of me, impulsively tweeted or posted something, or did other things that people may regret, but in my opinion, I never regret being a good person."
