Bastille interview: Exactly how long is Dan's hair?

We caught up with Bastille at Somerset House, where they answered your Twitter questions. The lads said they would rather all dress as farmers than hippies or goths, and even revealed the exact measurement of singer Dan Smith's hair. I felt that the interviewer was a bit rude. Calling them "not so beautiful", saying that their song Pompeii was getting "annoying". Not to mention measuring Dan's hair when he didn't want it. It was all very unnecessary, and could have been worded or done in a better way to make both the audience and the people being interviewed can have a nice time.

I remember watching this 6 years ago and haven’t forgotten it. I still love this band more than ever. It’s so surreal seeing how they’ve grown and changed yet stayed the same and the things they’ve done is incredible. Very very proud.

It was like having a crush on a person but a band - I wanted to know everything about them and be with them everywhere.. after 5 years I’m a still a big fan but not as obsessed as before.. their last album has like 6 standout for me which is decent

Whoa I feel like people are overreacting a little bit! The bit about the 'not so beautiful Bastille' was obviously a joke. And to me the boys seemed to be having a good time with the interviewer. Also, Dan's a grown ass man. If he doesn't feel comfortable enough to do something, he doesn't have to do it. Besides, he's the one that offered to let the interviewer measure his hair...

Dan looked uncomfortable during the hair measurement and the fact she called their song "annoying" was just out of line and "not so beautiful", c'mon. Choose your wording. They looked uncomfortable. I could understand if they were having playful banter, but it didn't seem like it.
