Bat City Spirit of Comics Retailer 2024

We are honored to have been nominated by our community for the Eisner Spirit of Comics Retailer Award in 2024!
We are a 501(c)(3) educational non-profit comic book store located in Bradenton, Florida. We offer a large selection of new comics (heavily focused on independent and small press creators), back issues, trade paperback collections, kids' books and comics, manga, graded comics, and comic supplies, and feature on-site comic book cleaning, pressing, and restoration services.
Proceeds from items purchased in our store help fund our programming which includes comic creation workshops, reading skills workshops and activity days, classroom curriculum, book donations to schools and libraries, and more. At Bat City, we want to help create the next generation of superheroes!
