I do imagine that out of all of them, Barbara is the only one who marries a normal person. Everyone else is dating aliens, metas, vigilantes and the occasional just as crazy conspiracy theorist (I'm thinking Bernard) and Barbara, the only sane one, marries a very normal person. She's not even legally a part of the family so the partner doesn't even know until her pseudo siblings start showing up at their nice little apartment they have together and suddenly the place is overrun with people who look like they can murder you and people who will actually murder you, as well as a few people who are just genuinely weird or frankly concerning.

Actually if you look at the very first few comics with Batman in them he actually used to use guns, but he didn't like the kind of person it was making him or something like that. So then he changed to the whole no guns rule.
