Bat Felt Along: Or, Watch and Felt Later!

Below is a list of supplies against which you can check your stash and see what you might need. Almost every color can be swapped as bats come in a huge variety!
The 6" 22g wire bat weighs 1 - 1.5 oz to give you an idea of fiber amounts.
I also use needle felting and wet felting tools.
22 g Black Wire
32 g Wire - if you want toes
Dark Core: Carob or brown - for wrapping and core
Merino: Chocolate, Coffee , Bark, Marrakesh- for wet felting wings and blending in to fur. Any variety!
Silk: Soft Fruit, Fir, Cinnamon - any variety! For wet felting wings and blending into fur
Top Coat or Horse Coat: Seal Brown or like color for face details
Optional: FUR colors for applying fur over body

I apply the wax with a stiff paint brush, they make some specifically for wax. It works marvelously! I would make a terrible mess with a pallet knife.
