YALL ARE MAD 😂😂 Andy went back into the past and pulled out old school tricks. All of y’all need to learn skate history and sit down. Literally all of street skating is freestyle. Ollies, kickflips, impossibles, nollie back 3s and so many other tricks are freestyle tricks that are allowed. Aside from the bean plant every trick was legal including the wet stop. It’s not a manual he’s literally balancing his weight over his truck and reverting. Andy is a breathe of fresh air to these stale regulated games of skate. Be different and not a robot

Andy's "Wet Stop" doesn't break any actual rules, and it's not even close to being a manual. This was a case of "oh well clearly nobody else can do that so it's not allowed" bullshit.

@@TheDailyWipeout The rule is "no doing tricks that slide on the ground if your opponent popped his trick" meaning that if your opponent sets a BS 360 and the full rotation happened in the air, you can't defend by doing a BS 180 and then revert the other 180.

Sure a couple were goofy. But that front foot impossible was toooo clean. It’s not Andy’s fault he can 3 flip, varial heel, etc. but also do the OG bean plant and wet stop while no one else can.. 😂 Either learn the tricks or don’t invite him! Haha

Difference is Mike v is a respected stater from the 90s that invented tricks. And still can manage a respected game even with his funny perks where is andy was full try Harding just for the win. He will not make it to finals night as he can’t even do a straight 8. Once he losses the ro sham bo he’s done

There’s a big difference. Mike V said he’d only compete if he could do his tricks, and went up against a pro who was capable of doing some of them. Who also approved of said tricks going in. The biggest difference is, Mike V never won. So it was never a big deal. I always felt both Mike V’s battles were a bit “scripted”. Kind of like Maltos unsanctioned battle.

I really don't see how the Wet Stop doesn't count. It's basically a one foot 360 revert. The rules say "No doing tricks that slide on the ground if your opponent popped their trick." That doesn't in any way rule out tricks which slide on the ground to begin with and reverts are added to tricks all the time and counted as part of the trick. The shuvit also slides on the ground without popping. I call bullshit.

@@phonephonerson as far as I've seen he can ride switch in the bowl/ ledges, but switch flip tricks he seems pretty poor at. Doesn't need it for his style of skating so he can do em, but doesn't have it on lock compared to say Zac Doelling

S - Old school heelflip is a dirty trick but, it's not going against any of their rules. K - 360 flip. A - Fakie varial heelflip. T - Ollie kickback is kind of dirty too. (Could have just done an ollie and it would probably count). Lol. E - Front foot Impossible. Seems like a legit win to me.
