Anthony, soooo sick. This Mezco Tmnt set is a gift to the fans and is in contentention for best 'figures of the year. You hit everything. The texturing and functional accessories is where Mezco truely shines. The 'Turtles in their usual aesthetic are uncovered the detail on their skin and the shells front and back, remarkable. The fact that there is very little reuse on the bucks and head sculpts adds to the value. The accessory storage and playability marvelous. The load out as well. Your outro poses got me frothing for mine to show up. As close to perfect as it gets.✌️

Man these turtles look like they combined the best of every version into one package, awesome review! I know Tonfas were also used in a prequel issue of the mirage comics. Also Rise of TMNT is a great show even if it did come out too soon, but to be fair fans did hate the 80s cartoon for being different from the comic, kind of an endless cycle for any fandom really XD

Given the Mezco brand using soft goods, I wish they would've had a head option with wired cloth masks that could be removable. I always liked the somehow weirder look when they take their masks off during down time.

These might be the perfect in scale 6 in Ninja turtles figures to date?!? They gave it the old school 4-in classic stiff figure look, but they gave it the detailed realistic treatment not to mention they are very much in scale next to other mezco 1:12th pretty dope.

Great review! They do look really cool! If I had any negatives to say about them (besides the price) they seem a tad over textured IMO and I really didn’t need all the cloth goods and effect pieces, even the cloth pads and belts aren’t working for me. Trench for Raph and 1 cloak if anything. That could have saved cost. I still think the old NECA versions are still a touch better, while the 1990 movie versions are my faves. Here’s hoping Mezco makes Shredder and offers up that Casey they teased

Never thought a set of turtles would come out that are better than the original 2008 mirage tmnt but here they are, I just have to repaint a few masks red and maybe the skin tones not a fan of the different skin tones.

Would not be surprised if Mezco releases an exclusive comic version with the all red masks and matching skin tones. Mezco is good when it comes to variants. I'd wait for that set before spending lots of time customizing these. I wouldn't be surprised if they released a black and white set as well. They did that with Judge Dredd. The black/white comic Dredd is one of my favorite figures of all time. It looks amazing in person.

При чем это есть и в других наборах, к примеру серия miracle comics от neca, где есть две разные модификации черепашек ( больше и меньше ), но к сожалению у всех черепах этой серии супер опухшие ноги, как и у серии черепах от mezco, как и серии черепах от fury toys ( samurai turtles). У всех этих серий огромнейшие ноги. Они же не деревья))) Как можно прыгать и драться с такими большими ногами? Самые лучшие модели черепашек с адекватными ногами - это модели из по первой части фильма 1990 года, где у всех не только нормальные ноги, но и разные лица и характер ( у моделей из фильма 1990 года - секрет слизи, уже одинаковые идеальные мимишные лица, но это не интересно), но отмечу что очень оригинальна серия turtles - monsters ( из этой серии очень удачны Мумия Микеланджело и Человек невидимка Донателло) По атмосфере мира черепах - это атмосфера в фигурках от mirage comics, где сплинтер хоть и маленький ( 9 сантиметров в высоту), но какой эпичный, как будто из 90-х годов. Так что у черепах от mezco, neca - mirage comics и fury toys ( samurai turtles) большие опухшие ноги.
