I'm a sucker when it comes to purchasing new types of pans. I bought a Gold Claw and it works great! I know in Africa they use pans similar to the Batea for panning for diamonds.

I've seen videos of the Gold Claw, but I've never tried it. It's always fun to experiment with new equipment, though!

Vo-Gus Prospecting uses the metal one. He really like it. He says they are very fast.

@@HurleyDeanSandpointIdaho It does chew through material quickly. I just get a little nervous when I get down to the end.

I've been waiting for this video I just didn't know you were going to get the plastic pan I wonder what the weight differences between the plastic and the steel. It's still really surprise me it's not as heavy as I thought it would be. With my set up I need To devise a way of sitting down so I don't have to bend so far over to run my pan, my lower back was talking to me all week after I made my last video running that pan. Thanks For bringing us all along so we could see how that Batea pan works in the Creek.

Yeah, sitting would sure make it easier! My back was also unhappy with me. I am hoping that as my technique with the pan improves, the strain on my back will become less. Thanks for your feedback!

Nice job and introduction with the pan I don’t think I’m a fan of that because I just looks too heavy I’ll stick with my XP pan it’s just as big as that is but interesting thanks for showing how this works take care 👍😁⛏⛏⛏⛏⛏⛏

It is heavy! But it cleans out faster than a "normal" pan. So pick your poison, I guess. Thanks for the comment!
