Interesting. The whole time ive been using levels 1-3 of each special. In this video, theres 1 only special for each character, but that means less bricking so theres constantly combos going off. You officially broke the game :)

I have only 12 cards in my deck and 4 hand slots. So, after the first 8 cards, bad draw luck is actually impossible. Whenever an attack card is highlighted in the top right corner of the screen, it instantly goes back to the cards available to be drawn. The same thing happens to weapon cards when they are unequipped (all 3 weapons I use expire at the end of a turn). If you pay attention to the cards suddenly appearing in empty slots at the bottom, you'll notice they're just attacks being performed or weapons being unequipped - not random draws. Since I have only 12 cards, there's nothing to get in the way and they all fall into place. It's also why empty hand slots are possible to begin with.

This is one of my favorite things to attempt in the game. My highest is only 47 individual cards, but I think I'm going to try with the deck you're using if I can get it right.

Individual as in not reshuffled and reused during the combo? That would actually be pretty interesting to see because it implies you had 47+ cards in your deck and thus pretty low odds of drawing the right card over and over.

Wow. I didn't know about this! You can actually abuse the game's mechanics. It's funny that the game couldn't handle the huge combo you pulled out. xD I wonder if it it only crashes if you look at it or if it actually permanently screws your game file if you save after doing that long combo.

It only crashes if you attempt to scroll to the 41st card. The memory region for the longest string of cards ends at the 40th card, and the next 4 bytes hold the amount of damage. Since that number is absurdly high, the game reads garbage data when looking up the magnus name, which usually causes a crash. In the unlikely scenario that this doesn't crash the game, you can see some weird stuff after the 40th card. I might make a video on that at some point. As for the game file, I don't think a 41+ cards combo has any negative effect besides the battle stats crash and the shortest/longest battle times being reset. With 125 cards, there are only so many consecutive values the game can change, and they don't go very far beyond the end of the battle stats memory region. Not to mention the data next to that region isn't saved in the file anyway. It might be a different story if you did an even longer combo, but then the game would just softlock at the end of the battle. Also, here I am again providing more insight than anyone asked for so I can refer to it later.

Which boss? As far as I can tell, combos aren't absolutely required for any battle.

You can increase MP gain by classing up in the Endmost Bethel. I'm at deck class 30 in this video, which is the maximum.

Because level 4 special attacks have an extraordinarily long cooldown, I would have to add more attacks - not only to make the actions last longer than the cooldown, but also to prolong the magnus selection so I don't run out of time while waiting for the next character. With more attacks in the deck, I would inevitably drop the combo at some point because of missing an attack I need (especially 1, 1+ or 2+) or running short on MP if I decide to not use both 1+ and 2+. While it's possible to perform long combos with The Godling's Rapture, 125 cards would take much longer since I would have to remove weapons to make it feasible, and I think this video is already a long enough demonstration.

I saved the game before recording the video because I knew it would crash. Getting to level 100 only takes a few hours of fighting Holoholobird and Mange-Roches (5167 EXP) in the coliseum with Adventure Novels (5% EXP bonus for 1.5 hours) from Baelheit's library.
