The suits were being nice when they told the cast/crew that it was a "strategic decision." Either the lead was stinking it up, or the directors were clearly incompetant. You don't throw millions of dollars worth of footage into the bin for strategic reasons, you do it to cut your losses from an embarrassing fiscal and critical distaster.

I’m so sorry that they decided to shelve the movie from the public eyes without a proper release, im just as confused , and upset i wanted to see if even more after seeing what was happening online on twitter. Still don’t understand why it still can’t be released it was almost finalized not many movies gets shelved without a release online , tv or straight to dvd without a proper notification, explanation. It’s not about the money, it’s something they are not telling the public, seems they didn’t want to see a strong female Latina woman batgirl leading the way not your typical original version of bAtgirls from previous movies in the past, all previous batgirls have been white women with red or blond haired
