Bath and Body Works released their Fall 2 floor set a couple of weeks ago. In celebration of this launch, they were also having a $12.95 sale AND I had a 25% off coupon. With another rumored sale on our doorstep, I thought it would be a good time to share with you what I purchased AND give you some initial post burn thoughts on the performance of these candles.

I haven’t burned any fall scents yet. My classroom is now a portable so I’m constantly walking outside and it’s so dang hot. I did buy 5 in the sale today. Hopefully you noticed that it included the 39.95 candles with the fancy lids. I picked up mixed berry crumble, apple crisp, maple pumpkin, pumpkin s’mores and wicked vanilla woods.

I love the Autumn Chai too !! I legit walked into B&BW and smelled every single fall/pumpkin candles and was surprised myself I picked autumn chai as the one I liked the best

My favorite for the season so far, Honeycrisp Apple. So good apple fragrance minus the spice.

I have noticed some of the latest candles I have gotten from BBW have been burning kinda low flame, like you said not necessarily puny wicks but not the large hot flame kinda burn, which allows me to burn the candle longer than the recommended 3 to 4 hours without sooting. Some of them have burned for a long time and the wax pretty much stayed clean, however it may have effected the strength and throw. I like the punch-you-in-the-face kind of candle, lol

@@littlerockguy I think the slower burn makes me nervous because I can’t tell if it’s going to totally dud out on me or if it’s just going to be like that all the way down. I do appreciate not having to deal with soot, but I agree that it’s definitely affected the output of fragrance.

@@katiesjoyfullife I also wanted to ask you about apple crisp in comparison to Kringle's warm apple pie. Have you tired Kringle's warm apple pie? I always overlooked it but found a couple at TJ Maxx and decided to get them since they were $9.99 each. I gave one away last year during a dirty santa game and kept the other one and lit it a couple of weeks ago and absolutely fell in love with it more than I ever thought I would and ordered another one during their current sale now.

I'm looking forward to burning these ones next year. I think I'm burning Fall's phase one scents this year. They released as member exclusive candles to purchase online only Pumpkin Nut Butter and Pumpkin Donut Shop as part of the $12.95 sale. It's too bad it wasn't released in the store. I would like to try both of them sometime. Yes, would love to try Cider Lane since people seem to rave over it. Please bring it back.

Hi Katie! I started burning Apple Crisp yesterday, It's giving NOTHING! I must have a dud. Another fragrance to stay away from is Radiant Red Maple. The scent is wonderful but the burn and wick quality is atrocious. Today, I am going into my stash and get out a reserve from last year...maybe Gilded Leaves or Pumpkin & Santal

@@PurpleRose79 my Apple Crisp is good, but I took back the Radiant Red Maple I had because the burn was awful & the candle was SO weak. Gilded Leaves is a lovely fragrance!

I use my RRM under a candle lamp to avoid the wick problem, and it performs well. The throw is about a 7/8.

Hi! I dont typically burn candles but instead use candle warmers. I wonder if that changes the scent notes or throw. Anyway, i bought the maple pumpkin yesterday and really loved the scent (from my warmer). I really didn't get much maple but it had a 'burnt sugar' vibe...which probably sounds weird to say but i really enjoy it, lol. Also, i tried repeatedly to subscribe to your channel by hitting the subscribe button but it didn't let me. I don't know if its a glitch on my end or not.

I do find that fragrances can smell different when they’re being warmed as opposed to lighting the wicks. Sometimes I enjoy them more in the candle crock than lit. Other times, not as much. Hope that glitch works out.

I like bath and body so much more than Kringle. Kringle burns nice but the scents disappoint.
