Bath & Body Works Candle Review: 💎 Danbury Shortbread 💎 Bridgeton Collection ~Spring 2024~

Hello today I have a review from the new Netflix Bath & Body Works collab of fragrances, this candle is called Danbury shortbread from Bath & Body Works.
This candle is a blended wax 14.5 oz 3 wick jar with a burn time around 35 hours retailing between $29.95.
I figured it would be too much to ask to assume these were new fragrances, unfortunately this is extremely similar to the Almond croissant.
You're paying $3 essentially for Netflix copyright fees.
It has a little bit more of a bakery note then Almond croissant which had more of a marzipan smell. I liked it but I didn't love it.

I did not expect to see you so soon. This was not a review I expected Houdini. I never got into this show but my mother loves it. This candle sounds nice but as you mentioned very familiar. Love that blue shirt on you by the way. 💙🩵💙🩵💙

The first thing I thought of was Goose Creek. Normally they copy Bath & Body Works and this time on a larger scale Bath & Body Works is copying them. I don't think it's necessary. This fragrance sounds nice but the whole Bridgerton thing is lost on me. 🤷

I think these tie-ins are a hot mess I know these camel companies because of their greed and ridiculous price points are losing business but I don't think these unnecessary tie-ins are the way to go. just make better f****** fragrances.

This is the one that sounds most interesting to me. Too bad it’s not shortbread. As far as collaborations with movies and shows, I’m just not into that marketing scheme and somehow cheapens the product. Like they’re desperate and don’t have original ideas or the quality for their products to sell themselves. Some people probably like it though.

I'd be very surprised if anyone goes and watches the show because of the candles and vice versa. I guess the marketing and the profit margin will let us know. it's all about making money and if it doesn't it won't happen again.

Bummer. There is something about butter browning with a hint of sugar when you bake shortbread. Nothing like it. Sadly I couldn't care less about Bridgerton. I did enjoy almond croissant and would buy it on sale

this is not remotely a shortbread cookie unfortunately. it's a solid almond bakery fragrance but we've already had one this year so again it's reductive with a higher price point.

it's not a cookie at all which is what I wanted and that's what they solicited. at some point we all have to collectively get a f****** clue and realize that Bath & Body Works is full of s***. allegedly
