Leaves is definitely my go to fall scent but this years was weak! I don’t know if it was a bad batch but it mostly smelled like burnt wax while burning.. then just a slight scent on cold. I need the powerhouse back 😫

I stock up on a couple every year like Marshmallow Fireside which I burn all year round. Just very comforting to me even on rainy days during the summer season. I picked up Christmas Cabin today and I think that's why I love it as I agree to me it's on the same lines as Marshmallow Fireside. I'm surprised so far BBW did not bring back Fireside. I did not pick up Marshmallow Fireside last year as it was weak to me. Luckily, I had a couple in my collection to enjoy that were stronger. My local store in Ontario still had a small section of fall fragrances like Vanilla Birch, Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin, Leaves etc. I picked up a Vanilla Birch today during the $12.95 sale. Will see how it performs.

Oooooooh I love Vanilla Birch - I’m almost done burning this years version. It wasn’t as strong as I would like but it was reasonable - maybe a 6.5.

Last year's to all a good night was outstanding. The throw was medium high with high protection... And the glass blue lid made it look so classy and sophisticated.

It really was. Cold sniff was light but it was quite strong burning. I remember having it on my warmer and it was burning my eyeballs lol

The Perfect Christmas is my #1 So good !!! BBW has really great classic scents . Balsam is great in December and puts me in the mood for Christmas -- I can wait for December for these . I will do Fall scents until December I think

It was 95° here today. I did buy some Christmas candles. Crushed Candycane, To all a good night, and bright Christmas morning. I have several from a sale last year to burn this winter. I love caramelized lavender right now. It smells so good. It is a strong one. Have a great weekend ❌️ ⭕️

Crushed Candy Cane is a great scent! I also bought Caramelized Lavender. I’m hoping that one will have more lavender come through while warming/burning bc it seems very caramel forward on cold.

I had a hand soap of Fresh Balsam from last year that I recently put out in the kitchen. So good! Still have a leftover candle too, from last year. I haven’t been in store or purchased anything for over a month now. Still have enough leftovers from last year to enjoy, so no rush. I’ll wait for the next sale and hopefully be able to use the coupon I have for 10$ Off 40$. I picked up the last two Pistachio Toasted Vanilla my store had during winter SAS, so I’m good there. I wish i could pick up on more smoke in Christmas cabin. I was so excited about it but im getting so much red hot cinnamon from it. It smells like demogorgon and pumpkin bonfire mixed up to me.. Im really hoping it becomes smokier on warm because that happens to me with pumpkin bonfire.. On cold it smells like toasted clove buds but on my warmer i pick up on a campfire element. 🙏🏻 I think to all a goodnight is linen and lavender. It seems light on cold but it performs well! I picked up a dupe oil of vanilla birch and it is SPOT ON. Im making body care with it STAT. I agree cookie butter truffle is a bit of a letdown. We already have merry cookie and sugared snickerdoodle in candle form so kind of redundant.. Under the Christmas tree and the perfect Christmas are my favorites. I always pick them up as well. Seriously addicting and nostalgic. 🎄 Cozy cashmere for some reason smells like windex to me always. So funny. I dont pick up on that creamy, vanilla/amber note you normally get with cashmere but i weirdly still kind of like it. Makes my house smell extra clean lol Yes! Its super annoying. Its 90+ here and we just finally hit the beginning of fall and already Halloween is being put away everywhere and Christmas is being shoved down your throat. Really takes you out of the moment 🥲

I seem to have much better luck with the thin wicks that have a core - they almost always burn nicely to the bottom. All the other wicks - there’s a chance of 1/3 dud-out issues!

You crack me up with there wasn't much out yet but you bought 11😆And, good for you for having a fun night out yesterday instead! 👏🏻 I've kind of overdone myself for Fall now, too, lol. Besides the 3 candles I had ordered from Goose Creek, I got another one from them (Welcome), because based on the description, thought it would smell like apple pie, but it pretty much smells like Big Red Gum. Then, I ordered Pumpkin Spice Latte (cuz I needed a coffee candle, hadn't tried), and Pumpkin Vanilla Creme' (cuz FOMO) from BBW. I could take or leave them both. Pumpkin Spice Latte smells nothing like I thought it would, Pumpkin Vanilla Creme' just smells like graham cracker crust to me. Bring on the Christmas candles! 😆 It's funny you mentioned about BBW starting things early, I'm not a fan of when they bring the tropical scents. I imagine they're trying to give a going on vacation in Winter vibe, but I'm just not ready for those scents then 😆

How's the throw on Vanilla Birch? I love the scent on cold, but have heard it's light. I was curious about Under the Christmas Tree, so I'm happy to hear you love it. I really want To All a Good Night as well. There are so many Christmas candles I wanna pick up, but it's like 100 degrees here, so it'll be a while before I get around to them, haha.

Vanilla birch is definitely a lighter candle unfortunately. But it is beautiful and worth it to me. Under the Christmas tree is my favorite tree scent. It is SO good

Vanilla Birch isn’t the strongest, but it’s enough for me. Very good in a bedroom! Maybe a 6.5 strength/throw.

How do you find vanilla birch compares to mahogany vanilla? Trying to decide between them.

I love them both, but Mahogany Vanilla is much stronger, and tends to have issues halfway through. Vanilla Birch is usually a nice clean burn the whole time, but not as strong. 💜😀🕯️

I passed on Cookie Butter Truffle too & I'm not a fan of Merry Cookie either. I only picked up two Christmas Cabin & a To All A Good Night. Initially went in-store for Vanilla Birch until I saw the wicks. It had the same ones Radiant Red Maple had from last year 😩. To All A Good Night reminds me of Linen & Lavender.

That Radiant Red Maple candle…… so strange. Oddly enough, I didn’t actually mind how it burned because I felt like it did have strength and throw. A hurricane helped. But I almost kind of liked that I could let it burn for like 5 hours lol.

You really crack me up 😂. One of my Hot Cocoa & Cream candles has that same weird texture that you showed on one of your candles. One of the Chocolate Covered Orange single wicks I bought has a weird crystallization thing happening towards the bottom of it, which I’ve never seen before. I haven’t noticed the plastic smell on Cookie Butter Truffle so I’ll have to check mine out again. I do get that weird plastic note in Waikiki Beach Coconut though, so I’m familiar with what you were referring to. I wasn’t particularly fond of Cookie Butter Truffle or Merry Cookie. I think Sugared Snickerdoodle is at the top of their cookie type of scents. I am loving Pistachio & Toasted Vanilla right now; it’s such a great fragrance. Crushed Candy Cane is amazing too but I have to get a replacement for one of mine bc they sent me one without wicks 😒.

Pistachio and Toasted Vanilla is soooo good. And strong! My favourite “Christmas cookie” scent from BBW is Peppermint Sugar Cookie! I sure hope that comes back soon.
