The motor should be replaced, I have 3 inline ventilators in my basement, 2 have the light 1 has the heater

Let me guess - it's a Broan?? Nutone, which now owns Broan, makes an identical light/fan unit. Seems like you could use the existing housing and vent tube, and just replace the guts and outer plastic with parts from a new Nutone unit, which generally are quieter. Cost about $35 at Home Depot.

It was doing that because of the motor it has a bad motor so the hotel workers or the fan workers would have to replace it and put a new motor
