I moved and MAJORLY downsized about six months ago. I'm still struggling with where I want to put everything. On top of that, I added two cats to my household and all of their necessities are in my bathroom, so I'm having to rearrange. You've given me hope that it can be done and not to overthink it. :)

Congrats on your move and new kitties! A downsize is SO freeing! You’ll get it all sorted out, don’t worry. It takes time and it can always be rearranged over time until you find what works best for you.

Good tips....BUT makeup should NOT be kept in the bathroom. The moisture in the bathroom creates a breeding ground for bacteria and other nasties.
