This is so utterly charming. The amount of effort that must have gone into this, as well - getting a helicopter involved and finding someone willing to pretend fall into the sea, which was still very dangerous. Of course, the fact that it's sped up means that actually filming each part took much, much longer. Bravo

Think I first watched this around 15 years ago and it still sticks in the memory. Obviously love the artistry but also the song. I used to live in Sydney, I recognise Bare Island but where is the jetty at 2:52?! It’s been bugging me for all that time!

I got it when I first saw it, then HP took it down later and replaced it with their f'd up version with an idiot talking, the video was perfect, descriptive enough, didn't need dubbing. Anyway, I'm glad I found you after all these years to thank you for your amazing art, I'm now enjoying your new creations and getting inspired by them. Thank you.

It looks like models because of the blurring effect. It's called 'Tilt Shift Photography'.

@dennisonearth No they're not miniatures. They just applied a blur to foreground and background to make things look small. It's been done before in some photography, and e.g. Uniqlo web campaign uniqlo(dot)com(slash)calendar
