I happen to like all Sabbath eras but since Ronnie is my absolute vocal god ever I have to pick that one as my favourite. And I'm counting The Devil You Know as a Sabbath album too. All in all they ever did only three turds of an album and two of those were with the original lineup. Even the least Sabbath sounding Seventh Star is actually not that bad at all.

idk why it's "weird" - the Ozzy era rules, the Dio era rules, and the Martin era rules. All brought something new to the mix, whether it's Heaven and Hell, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, or Headless Cross.

@Nic TheCow Both of those things can be true simultaneously...She can be a breath of fresh air even though they are covering a DIO song. This girl is only 18 years old and she does have her own band (LILIAC) that plays original music. Her voice is very suited for metal music and she brings new life to the genre. However, if you've watched her over the past few years as she emerged onto the music scene, you can see how influenced she is by DIO. What did I say that was wrong? The young lady is very talented.

Lol @ the haters. "No originality ". It is a cover and a tribute! So, no the song is not original. However, being sung so well by a female vocalist despite her young age and trying to keep the song true to Ronnie James Dio ...is original form and respect. Ronnie would be very pleased. Over the top? You want a stone stiff emotionless vocalist just standing there, right? That wasn't Dio. And not Melody. If you can get yourself up and into the music, draw that energy your own way. Far better than drugs.

I've listened to everything Melody has sung on the internet!!! she's a fire breathing dragon ess!!! some is a little exaggerated, but she's still coming into her own, but good heavens can this girl sing!!!! I would really love to hear her do covers of LONELY IS THE WORD BY DIO, and STAR by NAZERATH!!!! just look how well they did with SEVEN NATION ARMY COVER!!! OUT STANDING!!!
