Well, the cool thing about this, is most of us who love the original films all ready have the first standard blue ray additions with the classic 5.1 audio. So not to much of a big deal other than going down to 1080P, and if you have a good quantum dot TV, the color vibrancy even on standard blue ray is NICE.

I still bought and enjoy this collection but I’ll keep my 2013 release Blurays. Not as blue and sound effects not ‘Lucas’d’ on the 2013 Bluray of Batman.

I don't think that's a fair criticism, they didn't have a choice, they used sound effects from other movies due to the rushed production, they couldn't do a remaster without removing them.

I've had Batman and Batman Returns on Blu-ray for years now. I don't have 4 tv nor 4k player. Is it worth the upgrade to buy the first two movies only on blu ray remastered ?

Definitely worth sticking with your blu-ray, especially Batman '89, hopefully one day they'll release it with the original sound mix included.

I Love All Of Them I Mean Those 4 Movies But My Problem With The 4k Versions Is The Colours They Made The Colours Too Much Dynamic But In Some Shots They Did Very Good Job But Again When YOU are Watching The Whole Movie You Don't Want This Colour Changings Because It's Too Much They Hitting In The Eyes Very Much I Mean At Least For Me Who I Love The Classic Old School Style

I ordered all 4 off Amazon (couldn't wait for the box, lol) and I have seen the remastering of Batman in the theatre. Here's my verdict on the 4k discs, the picture and sound quality is excellent for Batman and Batman Returns. However for Batman Forever and Batman and Robin the colors seem to be the only thing worth mentioning about the video quality and the sound may leave one unimpressed. I have yet to watch the blue rays but it's my understand they should have the same remastered versions only downgraded to 1080p. Overall a must have for Batman fans and movie lovers! I'd give it an 8 out of 10!

Hyper RPG. Great A1 review specially thoso sound effects A/B shots and like you Sir i love all 4 am not a hater unlike most peaple about Joel Schumacher's BATMAN movies wich are not only awsome but also have the two of the greatest coolest sound logo names intros in movie history even without ATMOS so great made done, can't wait for the Final Cut DOLBY ATMOS remix of Apocalypse Now have already my ticket for DOLBY CINEMA July 15th. in my town Munich cheers from Germany

Holy jump cuts Batman. I know you trimmed some parts to keep the video tight but they were very distracting on the video.

the movie had the same colour palate on vhs, on lazerdisc and on bluray. now they are wrong they is a blue/teal tint to the whole movie it ruins the style of the film. the 4k is the sharpest version but who cares when it does not look like the movie we all grew up and loved all these years. jokers face is light blue on the 4k. the bluray is much better than the 4k and looks the way batman 89 has ALWAYS looked. the 4k is just a tampered mess. the screenshot of clooney looked better on 4k but penguin looked better on the first screenshot from the bluray. this movie was always BLACK not blue/teal. and they fucked up the sound effects from the original movie.
