The patriotic bit with the Joker was lifted from the Rocketeer movie. ;)

Great episode I loved your approach to get to the 96 issue as I said through research, I looked to find the generals, no luck sorry lol what would be another interesting one is Byrne and Sterns short lived cap run from the 80s. Thanks again look forward to next one

Enjoyed this crossover review, although I must admit that the majority of my marvel comic book reading is prominently in the Bronze Age. However, a solid story and good artwork made this an interesting read, I really thought the epilogue was a good plot twist at the end; excellent video.

There's a good reason why Byrne did everything for this comic except coloring: he's colorblind. When he was working on Iron Fist he thought the costume was brown until he was told it was green. Excellent review of a great story. Starting by reviewing Golden Age stories for both characters was a brilliant idea! I consider this Byrne's next-to-last good story. "Generations" is absolutely awesome, blowing even "Batman and Captain America" out of the park. "Generations 2" is also good, but "Generations 3" is a trainwreck. The less said about what Byrne did with his Spider-Man relaunch the better.

Thanks for your support. 👍 Interesting about Byrne being colourblind.

I noticed the background change. New Zealand has entered the room!

I’m impressed you noticed, Sheelagh. New Zealand used to be there (maybe on one of the earliest episodes) but one of the cats destroyed it!

Hi, RetroMarvelMan! I like you. You remind me of a friend of mine from school. A serious person, but funny. 🙃

You are welcome, Eddie, but brace yourself as there is more to this episode than just the 1996 crossover! 😳

33:42 The general on the right is probably Dwight Eisenhower, although I dunno why he would be stateside in 1945. He should be in Europe getting ready for D-Day. I canʻt place the other two.

Thanks Patrick (Although I feel a bit embarrassed not recognising Eisenhower). 😳
