I hope this book club thing becomes a regular thing on this channel. The panels with Raph and Batman were epic and should have made it into the film. They were among the highlights of the comic. "You're just a rich thrill seeker fighting for kicks. We fight for survival." Later on Batman explains the real reason he fights in a pretty touching scene. All that stuff should have made it to the movie. I heard it didn't. I haven't seen it.

I think they did something a little different in the movie but it's kinda the same idea where Raph calls out Batman. I've only seen the movie but I have read the Batman and Raph scene from the comics and they both seem to work well.

It's one of the best intercompany crossovers ever. It felt so organic and not forced. It felt natural the way they come together. There was a purpose to it all. A method to the madness. It wasn't just the same old cliche of "Hey we've ended up in a parallel universe". There was more depth to that and stakes to it. Just being in a parallel earth was dangerous for the turtles even without any threats coming at them.

the synopsis of the big screen green lantern might be like this "After Sinestro became Evil and made the green lantern agent killed, only one green lantern army survived then went to earth and met with Jordan and he gave the ring he used with 1 lantern containing 3 rings to given with people whose hearts are clean

Comic book wise they are my two favorite franchises/characters. And as a big fan of both I believe they did an awesome job with it. Keep them coming. Talk about the final of the trilogy

The melding of Batman's rogues with Turtle's mythology was great. All his rogues mutating and becoming animals of their respective nature and personalities Freeze as a Polar bear Joker as a snake(it fits since he's known for using venom) Bane as a Mammoth And Penguin...drum roll please...... As a Penguin Of course. There was such great fan service in the book.
