after you take out the second sniper jump on the gargoyle in the front of him, the one above the train vagon. Wait for the thugs to start running towards the second sniper then drop down, jump to grab the ledge and pull 2 enemies at the same time, Then do that again (works twice usually) and you only have a normal thug left to take out, works for me almost every time.

I found that timing is EVERYTHING for doing this run. The guards take the same paths to the broken wall, it's what happens after which is kind of up to chance. I tried waiting until the last grate to grab the first guy, that way the snipers see me, but don't kill me when I run through the trains. Follow the guide where BAV whip trips the guard. Now look to see if all the rest of the guards are on the bottom floor running to your general location. If they are not, something messed up and it's not going to work. If they are, proceed how BAV did and hopefully you don't mess up the caltrops. It took me a quite a few tries to get this down. Good luck.

To help make this more consistent, do everything the same until you run through the train. Sometimes a guy will run by late and that can screw the run, also if it goes well you need to hear a goon go "Wa?" or something along that line (while running through the train, you also need to have not seen anyone run by infront of you). If you dont hear it, the last takedown with the sniper will be impossible because the goons will not be forced to run on the bottom floor (thats what happens when you do hear the goon say "Wa?"). Take out the sniper above the trains the same way. Takedown the last sniper the same way also, but dont bother with the caltrops. Just go down to the ledge and hope you get the double takedown. Hope this helped.

If you're just going for medals and don't care about time, do yourself a favor and set aside like 30 minutes for this map. That might be overkill but it will make it less frustrating for yourself. Do this: - Wait until ~7 seconds have passed, then run up the right side of the map and jump into the grates - Head all the way up towards the back of the room and take down the jammer guy as soon as he steps over the grates - Run and slide into the crawlspace directly in front of you and put on your detective mode - Once all the guys run to the unconscious jammer guy, climb into the sniper room from behind and use the sniper to get your whip medal - Then just use this room as your safe zone and *only* come out when you know you can pick a lone guy off easily. Don't get impatient (remember, you blocked off time for this). *Save a thermal guy. There should also still be a sniper* - Then once there are only two guys left (sniper and thermal) you should be able to wait just a bit longer until they're next to each other for a double takedown Seriously makes this map much easier and you don't have to worry about pulling off insane crap like in this video. Will also make your life easier if you're doing this two more times for the campaign medals! In fact, I suggest leaving the Takedown Projectiles and Free Medal modifiers for End of the Line. Then you can just do the steps through the sniper room and quickfire bola everyone to death from your perch (hiding from the other sniper when needed). This advice goes for other maps that are annoying. You can shimmy along the entire perimeter of Top of the World in relative safety and just ledge takedown EVERYONE. You can even drop off the map if spotted. There's a safe zone in Lost City where you start as well.

Well, generally speaking, Catwoman is always EASILY spotted when she's trying to make her escape, unlike Batman who loses them almost instantly with a smoke pellet or batclaw to a gargoyle. She has to jump and jump and jump and jump to reach ONE gargoyle, all the while they see her do it. So her ability to escape is horrible. It's ironic, considering that Catwoman is, according to the game, "unrivaled in stealth". This basically only translates to her being able to run RIGHT up to an enemy from behind without being detected... which ALSO makes no sense, in those exaggerated stilettos. Whole lotta weird stuff in this game...

This can be said of most Catwoman challenges. She has infrared, but can't pinpoint the jammer's location. Her only takedowns take too much much time. As with the other sidekicks, she has no way to disable weapons at all. Her stun combo often does nothing, and her counter has such a limited range that countering often will interrupt free flow. Plus they screw you this time. "Friends fly free" is set up to be done first in most challenges because otherwise getting it done is impossible. But here such a tactic always fails. Unless I'm missing something, which I surely must be.

Thanks for the video! I managed to do very similar to what you did. For anyone who says that this is impossible: Do step 1 and 2 exactly as the video. If you takedown the first guy at 09 seconds, you have better chances of not being shot when you run through the train wagon. Now, for the double ledge takedown part, I did something different: I waited for the thugs to stop searching me, and when the sniper crossed the bridge I went into the northern gargoyle. When only the sniper was in the upper floor, I did a silent takedown on him in the middle of the bridge. Then I trew the caltrops like BAV did, jumped back to the northern gargoyle and waited a little for the thugs go to the upper level (the signal jammer guy didn't go) and then I jumped in the ground, got on the ledge of the brigde (by the northern side) and managed to do 2 (yes, TWO) double ledge takedowns. The signal jammer guy saw me and before he shot me, I dropped from the ledge, whipped him and did a ground takedown. I hid from the last guy and did the shame whip + ground takedown on him. And this was the first attempt with this method (takedown in the middle of the bridge). It takes a little longer, but it's easier because you have higher chances of not being spotted by the other thugs. I'm not skilled as BAV and I can't make Catwoman do what I want her to do, so I had to find a different way. I hope it helps.

Jeez, I thought the Joker was bad at Predator encounters... I tried this around 20 times before giving up; the first two enemies/medals are easy but if you make a single wrong move you're dead instantly, and the snipers can track you anywhere you go. It's incredibly frustrating and I stopped having fun after a dozen instant deaths, but I've platinum'd all 3 Arkham games and the only thing left I can accomplish is getting the DLC trophies for Catwoman by finishing her predator maps. I utterly despise using her in a couple of the maps, especially this one (the most difficult challenge map out of all 3 games) - she dies from two shots of anything and is much less versatile than any other character, unless the environment was designed for her to climb on the ceilings. I'm not even trying for speed, but even without hurrying or worrying about the medals I can't survive long enough to pick them all off, between the snipers, shotguns, mines, armored enemies, a jammer and lack of mobility (you can't reach the gargoyles from the ground with her in this map for no apparent reason). Haven't even come close or made progress, but only with Catwoman - I've finished it with Batman, Robin and Nightwing. No frickin idea how I'll ever complete her Predator Master campaign.

After a couple dozen of tries, I've managed to replicate the video in 1 min and 29 seconds. You got to do the grate takedown as quickly as possible, and when you enter the train, the Jammer guy on the train on the left should still be on the train that's how you know the timing is right.

And for those of us who are not Batman Arkham Videos: At the beginning of the level, wait a few seconds, then run over to the grates to your right. Crawl into the grates. Go to the far end, Grate takedown the remote jammer thug. Immediately run and slide into the crawlspace. Wait for the thugs to be running to the guy you just took out, then run underneath the little area with the armored sniper. Whip him up. Then you just got be patient for double ledge. Best bet: Sniper + thermal goggles

Thank you for this, 9 years later. This makes this map tolerable. You can just hide up in the sniper room too and wait to pick off the henchmen one by one (leaving the thermal guy). Then just be patient for the double ledge takedown. I think a lot of the perceived difficulty is not being patient with these. If you're willing to spend 25 minutes on each map and be ultra-cautious, you should be good most of the time.

I really wish this method had worked for me. I really do, but the idiots keep screwing up. Whenever I run through the train and I hear "Huh?" that means that when I take the sniper out like in the video, there's always a henchman running atop the trains who sees me. If I slide and crawl through the end of the first train compartment (thus not being seen) and complete the second guy, then when I do the knockout punch, throw the caltrops, and dangle over the side, those below always shot at me.

I was just about to give up on this map. Spent about an hour between two days trying to get it right. (The first day, I had to stop because the thugs kept spotting me even though I did exactly what BAV was doing and I was getting very angry.) This is the only Predator map to have the enemy setup changed for Catwoman specifically and for GOOD REASON: * 8 Armored Enemies (2 Snipers; 2 Thermal; 1 Minelayer; 1 Jammer) [The Standard Setup for Batman, Robin, and Nightwing] would be EXTREMELY DIFFICULT for Catwoman. * Therefore: the Setup for her specifically is 4 Regular Enemies (1 Sniper; 1 Thermal; 1 Minelayer) and 4 Armored Enemies (1 Sniper; 1 Thermal; 1 Jammer)

For anyone having trouble with this, this strat in the video only worked up to the second knockout, anything after that and I was ruined each and every time. On steam there’s a part 2 100% guide which suggests you should instead run to right and use the vents, it’ll take a few but every time the jammer* enemy will walk towards you. Take him out and then run and slide into the vent that’s open, you’ll see it as you take him down. Go through and go through the train car in front of you, you’ll see a thug get stuck listening to riddler which gives you enough time to take out the sniper that’s alone in the alcove using a lasso, that should be two objectives complete. Climb back down and hide yourself against the left wall, when they’re not aggro, go through the train and back into the vent, and just wait until either two climb up the ladder in front of you or a person goes right next to the other sniper on the left side and come out and get the double ledge takedown, it’s the most consistent method I’ve seen. The video didn’t help me at all.

Tried path the game developer shows here didn't use the caltrop trick. when you do caltrop trick all enemies in vicinity hear you and rush... May be you didn't notice some super important but insignificant detail. Like the fact that when lazers pointed at him between trains, someone from the left said "Huh?". That huh will make major alterations to enemy pathing, just like being 1 second too late in a certain position can. (enemies actually see u 100% of the time when u r taking down top sniper)

Yes. All of the challenges and campaigns for batman (just batman) need to be completed with three medals. There is a detailed list of what you need to 100% from the stats page in the main menu.

This didnt exactly work for me. I followed the tutorial up to tripping the sniper & knocking him out. Then instead of doing that crazy maneuver, I jumped up onto the gargoyle and waited until the sniper switched sides. Idk if it was luck but the signal jammer walked right next to the sniper and I thrw a catrop at them. Then i was able to drop down onto them then the ledge, getting me the double takedown.
