I agree troy is talented but the issue is how this version of red hood was written, I think troy could've done a much better job with a better script, he pulled a darker and more aggressive and more dangerous version of hamil's joker and perfectly imitiated Kevin, it mostly falls on the writers and directors shoulders he might've immitiated Jensen too who knows.

They missed the Red Hoods character / motives. In the comics Jason forgived Bruce for not saving him, but was angry that the joker was still alive. He had hoped that Batman had killed him.

This is how they should have made the boss fight Stage 1: 1-on-1 like with Deathstroke in Origins. Stage 2: It's Predator, but he's the only person you're up against, you can't use Detective mode to find him and he's using the same methods you are (hiding in grates, up on gargoyles) so it's like one big game of cat and mouse Stage 3: Arkham Knight reveals who he is and you get this boss fight.

Nope, in this game, it was obivious that Jason was the dark knight, the game was full of clues: the arkham knight knew exactly where to shoot in batman's armor so he could hurt him with a gun -while batman's armor is supposed to be able to withstand a few shoots without too much damage-. He knews all the batman's tactics . Also, as we have seen his tortures scenes with the Joker. Seen him later in the game was the only logical conclusion.

Bats says he's Robin, he understands and he's not what he made him. Untrue, he WAS Robin, now he's the Arkham Knight turned Red Hood. No going back. If Batman really understood then he must've been tortured by Joker for over a year too both physically and mentally day in and day out barely getting any sleep. I think the last bit of what I said pretty much summarized that he is indeed what Joker made him. In the end Joker won. I don't know if Joker wanted Batman dead after his death but he certainly had fun messing with him and even in death he messed with him one last time, by driving his student away from him.

I gotta say, I never knew about Batman's sidekicks stories and their relationships before. And when I played this game, I was every bit as shocked as Bruce to see Jason alive under that mask. After that, I've become a huge fan of DC.

ClassicToonFan64 Considering all the REAL monsters that exist in the DC Universe, let alone the Arkhamverse (Man-Bat and Solomon Grundy, for example), the Mystery Inc. gang would be better off not getting into that business... at least, not without some gadgets and skills like the Bat-Family's. That said, it would be interesting to see how the current-gen consoles could be used to make them. Just look at the detail put into Arkham Knight's character models. We'd be able to get a talking dog that doesn't look as cartoonish as the one from the 2000s live action movie.

Daniel Cainion I really, really, REALLY wanted a hand-to-hand combat sequence. They could have easily incorporated the dialogue they had in the game into a fight AND used the final shot of Jason prone on the ground looking up at Bruce and Bruce being unable to deliver the final blow. Agh. Would have been so much cooler, especially if it depicted Jason's anger and how he tends to unravel and become more desperate as his blind rage clouds his judgement (and if possible, Bruce's reluctance to seriously hurt him). But no, he goes up and hides. Seriously, would this kid, a guy who makes shitty, impulsive decisions (and gets himself killed BECAUSE of this in the comics) the more emotional he gets take the time to just sit and wait in the corner for the man he loathes to randomly wander into his sights? Idk. I haven't seen the entire walkthrough. Maybe it'd less out of character than I'm thinking if I'd watched the whole thing...

JTG 2102 for me it was because it was obvious that they were gonna make a big reveal on who it was in the end, and it wasn't gonna be someone who we had no idea who it was. Another thing for me is that this wasn't Troy Bakers first time voice acting Jason. In the dlc I could see the similarities between the two helmets and during the movie studios they went too far into Jason's back story.

If it was simply just "Oh yeah, Arkham Knight is Jason, just cause" then it'd be shit, but the fact they put a twist on the Death In The Family story is really cool. Plus, I assumed the game would end with Jason, fully insane after the torture, declaring himself as Jokers legacy, and with Harley then killing him over that. Plus I thought there'd be some subplot where, as revenge, scarecrow captured Croc and tortured him while using him as a guinea pig for his toxin and would make him and Batman fight to the death.

But have Batman on fear toxin so Croc is just horrifying, and make the battle seem near impossible to win, then end it with Batman becoming stronger and overcoming the fear toxin, taking down Croc, and slowly walking to scarecrow, who keeps attempting to poison Batman with the toxins, only to fail and have batman inject scarecrow with his own toxins.

Nightwing is around 24-25, Jason Todd is 4 years younger than Dick, Tim is about 5-6 years younger than Dick, and Damian is the youngest at 10. Even if Nightwing isn't 25 in the games, Jason is still 4 years younger. Ackles sounds much older than 20-21.Hell, Ackles sounds more around 28-31, which would make Jason Todd just seem older.

***** Thpugh Nightwing is my favorite, youre right. Dick's motivation to becoming Nightwing was the fact that he hated being Batman's "shadow" and wanted to be recognized as his own hero. Jason's motivation to become Red Hood has a much more deeper meaning to it(him being tortured by Joker for so long lead him to be more of an anti-hero due to his willingness to kill criminals than to restrain them). I hope for RockSteady to develop a game all about Jason Todd and his journey to becoming Red Hood.

I think it's a cool fight, because it emphasizes that Jason still uses all the tricks Batman taught him. Batman taught Jason everything he knows, but not everything that Bruce knows. It's almost like fighting yourself. There are no too many characters in the DCU who use stealth as efficiently as The Bat Family. Most of the people Batman encounters will want to throw fisticuffs, they are criminals after all. They don't have order or control. They don't all think to try and hit Batman with his own medicine. But Jason knows what it's like, he's been on both sides.

Joshua Sixx I think that's a really cool idea, but to me it's not what plays out in the boss battle. Jason doesn't employ Batman's stealth tactics against him, he just sits on a perch with a sniper rifle and sends a bunch of goons out like every other villain. I'd love to have seen them go along with your idea instead. Maybe AK says "turn around," then there's an interchange and it comes to hand to hand combat. AK uses all of the moves you've learnt over three games against you - stun and beatdown, evade, quick fire gadgets - then he gets a shot off and wounds Batman who lands on the deck. AK is standing over him. "It's over, hero." Batman has something in his hand, behind his back. The first gen disrupter. Jason reveal. On screen prompt: jam gun. Jason tries to shoot, showing that he's for real, gun jams and Batman hits him, cracks helmet, drops smoke pellet to get away. "You can't hide from me. I will hunt you down." The tech hood turns red. Batman is wounded, and you have to use the environment to see off the threat of Jason who hides in the shadows, taunts you, attacks from the vantage points and grates. Eventually, Batman talks him down and wins the day. What you'd have then is a boss battle that takes elements from the Deathstroke and Mr Freeze battles from Origins and City respectively, and something more challenging than simply sneaking up on the guy. Also, with Batman wounded it would make more sense when he doesn't take Scarecrow down immediately on the rooftop before he finds out Barbara is still alive. Then there's the tank battle and the return to the GCPD where Batman has his wound treated and the story continues as usual.
