Paul Dunbar Yeah I mean - if he didn't want to risk Robin locking him in, then how about write something to let him out remotely ... I'm sure Robin wouldn't run out after him to try and lock him in as this would be dangerous for both of them. It's like this game Batman acts as stupid as possible so we can get this "identity reveal ending". Part of me thinks this could've been a super duper awesome game with multiple endings, where you can play Batman as this total loner doing his thing, shutting everyone out - but also as a team player, relegating duties to Robin and Nightwing. So that you can do some of the side missions with Robin and some with Nightwing ... hell I wouldn't have said no to Robin and/or Nightwing taking on the final stuff and Batman actually being in the cell. Like for extra super difficulty you play with the others ... I think it would've been cool if there were more interaction with Jason and the others ... like influencing him and make that interaction part of what he does later on. Oh well, it is what it is ..

Barbayat Bloodwater The reason I can think of Batman's irrational thinking is his exposure to the Fear Toxin and Joker. Yeah, that would've been nice. Hell, I thought we'd got more Dick Grayson. But actually we got more Tim Drake and seeing reflected by Jason Todd. Come to think of, no mention of Damian Wayne... And yeah, guess I gotta wait and see how things turn out for this walkthrough.

Paul Dunbar yeah well i think it's because the storytelling in this game seems really weak compare to the previous arkham games whoever wrote this story should kill themselves cause the way they deliver the story of this game is really quite disappointing not gonna lie (sighs) if only the legendary veteran batman writer paul dini was still writing for the story of this game it would've not turn like this but oh well and also to be honest the only reason why the previous batman arkham games was so good it was because of paul dini's magnificent story writing but now everything really seems wrong now that he is no longer involve for this game since paul dini has already gone to marvel to write and produce the show the ultimate spiderman lol

You know, I can't help but feel that a lot of Batman's problems would be made easier if he didn't feel the need to push his allies away. Barbara gets kidnapped which causes his relationship with Gordon to fall apart when he could've just been up front about it from the get-go. Sure, it would've been a difficult talk, but it's even MORE difficult for him to explain that his daughter was kidnapped and was almost killed. Tim gets kidnapped because he locks him up. I understand he's freaking out because of his hallucinations showing him Jason Todd, but Robin took on a room full of armed goons and a Titan single-handedly in City. Not to mention that Jason got killed because he actively pursued the freaking Joker against good judgment.

Daniel R. Except that Batman acts no different from his usual, I do not see any sign that the Joker being there does anything but making stupid comments that Batman ignores. There is this one weird scene when you walk in the cell and then you didn't and lock Tim in. But if anything the Joker being there seems to be the main motivation for Batman to make the choice of getting in there ... overall not very convincing and kind of frustrating that you have to be on the path of the bone-headed jerk with no alternate options.

Well this was different. Batman knew how dangerous he could be with the Jokers blood in him so he wanted to keep them as far away from him as possible. Arkham VR shows us exactly what would happen to bat family if Joker took over

I usually praise this channel's no-hit streak, but it was obvious that the developers intended the Batmobile to get hit a lot in this fight - you can see after the drone fight that the Batmobile model immediately swapped from brand new to a very battle-worn look, because it was intended for it to be in the middle of that fight. I think this might have been a good time to break the no-hit rule for the sake of story-telling and immersion. But still, it's an amazing quality walkthrough as always.

Lots of militia are sent to an area that has the BATMOBILE!?*ding* They also still try to fight Batman instead of driving off, despite knowing Batman fights dirty, and with anything he can use to have an advantage. *ding* Scarecrow doesn't bother sending the men on the roof to make an entrance to the GCPD while Batman is distracted with all the drones.*ding* They could've easily destroyed the GCPD had they used the Mamba missiles, and could've ignored Batman and focus on spreading out and focus firing the GCPD*ding* Scarecrow then sends the men out in waves, they have more transport ships, more guns, many more medics, AND the choppers could clearly hold way more militia *ding*
