Even though the game has many flaws, I actually like and admire how well they handled the bosses. Especially when you consider the game’s limitations because of the 2D environment, which they tried to kind of “break” during the boss fights and be more creative. There’s also a lot of variety and every boss is unique - there are hand-to-hand fights, stealth, puzzle (thats why I didnt mind Black Mask being defeated “so easily” - his boss fight just brought something else for the game), time rush or even different view perspective. Every fight has different characteristic, lenght, difficulty, and the most importantly: it suits the villains well. It would make sense for Penguin to protect his ass by a bunch of goons, it would make sense for Joker to chase you around like a maniac and be unpredictable… and so on. And they used not only every possible aspect or mechanics of the game (or even go beyond), they also made you use all of the gadgets and reward you for your progress in the game - for example, you can defeat Grundy with the Gel Launcher, or alternatively (and if you progressed enough) you can simply defeat him by one throw of Electric Batarang. As I said, the game has definitely a lot of flaws, but I think they put effort and care into the boss fights and I wanted to appreciate it.

Agreed at allmost everything, but the JOKER was very predictable at this game. BTW , to surprise for everyone , the WIIU version is the superior one here. I just finished the game and it was enough funny and challenging at that console, plus the second screen as a map for a metroidvania game is quite usefull

@@juanjoserivasgarcia2336 I mean, Joker was kinda unpredictable when it comes to comparison with the other bosses and in-game world. Anyways yeah, I know what you mean, for the player there couldnt be much surprises. And I definitely feel you with the Wii U version cause I played it on 3DS and the map on the second screen was handy af. It made the whole experience way more better, Im sure that moving around the prison and constantly opening the map (because you can get lost very easily) on the same screen would be pain in the ass.
