I think we should complain all together cos the difference is huge between mobile version and PC version. You can notice that in Asgard s Wrath on PC and Quest 3 . It’s really not negligible specially when they extra dark the surroundings in mobile versions so you can’t see any details or when you look at something very sharp and all the other stuff nearby is very low resolution.

Feels like we are officially entering a new era of gaming with games like this. Right as the console wars cinder down to cloud based gaming on whatever electronic platform you can connect a bluetooth controller to.... VR gaming begins to rise up from the ashes as an increasingly viable alternative. The developers definitely need praise and recognition for their creativity and ingenuity - the use of your hands and punches moving the character instead of joy sticks... You all are so infatuated with this hand waving gimmick, that you made a really dumb Batman game on behalf of it. At some point you all will finally get over this "Make it First person, I want to punch air!" gimmick you all are so infatuated with so that HMD can embrace the entire market instead of your Nintendo Wii niche.

@nope1a4 You sound really passionate about... Not VR. The so called Beatsaber element is not limited to VR. The industry has always created fighting games with combos requiring button presses in the right sequence and with taps or holds on your controller to perform. All you're saying is that you do not appreciate anything about the VR gaming experience and would rather use joysticks. Even the developers state that the combat in previous Arkham games were designed around rhythmic combos and fighting. You act like the developers are copying Beatsaber. The reality is that they took the exact same combat approach from prior games and made it work for VR in a creative way. Instead of full VR, just stick to XBox Game Pass and enjoy your VR headset as a more immersive display for your console. No need to act like developers that invested time into clever VR fighting mechanics are just copying another VR game. There are at least 3 VR titles that are actual Beatsaber/Super Hot clones releasing that are far closer to your accusation of unoriginality.

It's a bit mind blowing that this is running on mobile hardware. This looks amazing....Console exclusives are a strategy that's decades old, Meta owned Oculus Studios made it, so of course it's not coming to other platforms. I'm ok with that. If most games that released for Meta Quest 3 were at this level, they'd sell more systems. But Meta should know the fragmentation, which largely they are responsible for is a big reason why they don't.

I'm a huge Alien fan and have watched all the movies, played Alien Isolation PC, collected numerous statues and figures and have the Pinball Brothers Alien LV pinball game. I just ordered Meta Quest 3 and will be getting it tomorrow. The 'free' Batman game will be my first exposure to VR games and get me ready for 'Alien: Rogue Incursion' when it comes out in December. I hope there's an option to get rid of all the circles and number points while you're fighting. Most people don't wanna see 31 27 Or any other numbers while they're fighting. That sort of thing breaks immersion. I mean when was the last time you punch Someone and saw numbers come out of their head.

Without the circles, they can't implement the rhythm aspects of the old arkham games. Swinging freely wouldn't work for this. There'd be no way to track combos and do free-flow. Having guided hitting when attacking nails the rhythm play that's that's addictive. It gives you an advantage knowing the animations for enemy attacks are slow, just like in old arkham games. Countering ppl behind you is done perfectly. Yoi gotta remember that even tho the old arkham games felt very free...it was very much guided and automated and rewarded you for timing and recognizing different approaches to different attacks. They have pretty much took that same system and implemented it perfectly for vr.
