Each Batman version has two capes. As you switch between the Batman variants, the capes change as well to the correct style relative to the variant you have selected. For example, the Dark Knight Movie variant of Batman has a Comic Book cape that is all black, whereas the Comic Book Batman has a gold Bat symbol on the Comic Book cape, distinguishing it from the Dark Knight.

Fun fact: Batman is (probably) the only superhero with a real cape. A cape is not like a blanket attached to your back, it is meant to be like a cloak that covers your whole body and keeps you warm.

From what I can tell when you match the batsuit and the Cape it blends with the outfit and looks bigger the smaller version is how it would look on a normal skin. There is actually 3 Batman capes , one with gold bat emblem and black bat emblem and the movie cape

This may be 9 months old but I don’t care. The one with the black emblem only appears when wearing the Dark Knight style. And the gold emblem only shows up when wearing the comic book outfit style. So basically they are the same backbling just looks different depending which Batman skin you wear
