One thing that Bats failed to mention was Ash's personal history with Team Rocket. They've managed to capture and incapacitate Ash and his Pokémon of multiple occurrences. Some of the situation however, did turn to Ash's favor due to Team Rocket's pride and stupidity. Yes it has still given them experience when it comes to traps. Also, Bats has only mentioned Pikachu's electric attacks. He never mentioned him knowing Iron tail, a move capable of breaking and cleaving through solid stone and metal, and his Quick Attack, which allows him to move and attack at incredible speeds. So Bats may be underestimating the staggering amount of experience Ash and his Pokémon have.

And let's not forget that his plan to contain Pikachu's electric attacks is to cover the field with lightning rods, but Pikachu has beaten multiple times with electricity both ground type Pokemon that normally are immune to it, and lightning rod mons that pretty much are supposed to work the same as rl lightning rods xD Pikachu may be beaten if batsi brings the Hellbat, but it would be funny to see Batman's face when the lightning rods break after one or two attacks instead of neutralizing them xD

This all proves at least 2 things. 1, batman really doesn't know shit about Pokémon, how they can be trained to learn moves outside their specific types or type combinations. And 2, that logic is proof that his contingency plans, like all of them, don't always work. Definition of contingency plan: a detailed plan that may not work with certainty, for a situation or future event that may or may not happen

Batman needs to take into consideration that Pikachu could not possibly care less about small inconveniences like an insulated suit that makes you electricity-proof or lightning rods. He's used lightning strong enough to take down things that are immune to lightning before, and even if he couldn't use his electricity, Pikachu can and absolutely will throw hands.

@@richardarriaga6271 Pikachu has access to a Z-move (essentially a Super Attack) called the 10million volt thunderbolt, a move that fires off 7 powerful beams of such destructive power that it overloaded an Electivire who according to the pokedex can store up enough electricity to power a large city, and another time completely obliterated a giant earth energy titan summoned from the earth itself via a legendary pokemon and knocked out the legendary who summoned it at the same time, it's power literally had some calling it "the nuke". Only 2 pokemon have survived going against this attack, both belonging to champion level trainers, however they both still received some damage in the end from it. The first was Steven's Metagross which had Mega-Evolved, it dodged the attack initially but Pikachu was able to redirect 4 of the beams, 1 to counter Mega Metagross incoming flash cannon, and another 3 to pin it to the ground and weaken it enough to where it prompty got knocked out by a follow up Iron Tail...and also worth nothing that Metagross has processing power superior to super computers, meaning Pikachu outwitted a super-computer in addition to only using half this destructive power to put it down. The other pokemon was Leon's Charizard, who was in it's gigantamaxed form and had used a max move as a counter, it was able to block most of the damage but still took some of it, either way, that attack ain't something to take lightly.

In the original anime season, it was told that trainers can swap out pokeballs on hand with ones on stand with input from their pokedex (naturally I imagine this is illegal during any format of pokemon battle in universe). Batman wouldn't know this. Ash could 'send' his pokemon into storage, teleporting them to Oak's back, then recall them, teleporting them back to Ash. And Batman fails to recognize Ash has made MANY powerful friends among the Legendary Pokemon. (Including Latias and Lugia.)

There was quite a bit missing. Pikachu's Iron Tail and Quick Attack are notable, but also, Ash has Aura abilities. which while not refined, may give an helpful edge if truly desperate. Also, almost any time Ash is in danger not by a group known as Team Rocket, they somehow show up to help him.

Though ash is not proficient in hand-to-hand combat, especially to the likes of batman, he isn’t helpless. Along with his durability and endurance, ash has shown moments where he possesses unnaturally high strength (being able to lift a log with a wider diameter than his own body and being much longer than his body, and throwing said log with such precision it gets wedged between rocks to save Pokémon). If this is not accounted for, ash may be able to break the said material holding his poke balls before batman is done dealing with pikachu. Although Ash is known to be more disoriented when just waking up, these feats should be noted before the containment protocol ensues.

To be fair, most of those aura abilities are highly unrefined with Ash in particular. Yes, he was noted as having a similar aura to a highly skilled aura user, but it is implied that those abilities come with specific training to master. This is something that Ash has never shown interest in pursuing, so his aura abilities, currently, are not really worth mentioning. Unless aura is tied in with Ash-Greninja.

I'm surprised you never brought up Ash's strength. He has been able to throw a huge log without breaking a sweat. And could hold up an item that was said to weight at least a ton despite it's size without issue. Can't remember what item it was or it's exact weight. Now, he might not know how to fight, but that strength does counter out some of the disadvantage from that.
