Great tutorial, and that's no lie! ...Or am I lying?? How would you know?? If I say I'm not lying, and everybody lies, does that mean I'm lying???? So should I say the video's bad?!? Or does everybody lie, but not all the time, and....Hey Rodney, here's a little support to prove I'm not lying when I say this is a great video. XD

Is this a re-theme of an existing Detective system? Or is this unique?
@WatchItPlayed2 жыл бұрын
@@cindykee3719 That's hard to answer, it borrows some things from the previous Detective games, but also has new and changed things. The video should help clear that up though.

@@WatchItPlayed We got the prologue case solved. :) Also, I think it's great that you don't have to know anything about Batman to be able to play. I know almost nothing. Ben knows a lot, but it's great that you don't have to.
@WatchItPlayed2 жыл бұрын
@@teejleague3838 Agreed. It's nice when a game gives fans of the storyline something to get excited about, but doesn't make it feel like people who don't know the background are out of the loop.
@teejleague38382 жыл бұрын
@@WatchItPlayed Perfectly said. Ben was telling me some cool stuff, but none of it was necessary at all to understand the plot. So we both really enjoyed it. The only thing I really know about Batman is that Ben told me my Batman logo (that I made for my detective journal to use while collecting clues) should not have a smiley face. He insists the Batman logo is never smiling. But then, maybe Gotham would be a better place if it was, right? XD XD XD

Hey Rodney, I notice in videos you dont use the lights on your table. I'm in the process of crafting my own... how often do you (and/or the watch it played folks) really use the lights on your tables when gaming?
@WatchItPlayed2 жыл бұрын
I really never do, but you'll notice I also don't use the recessed area where the lights are located. Because this is a studio table, it's used it a way that's probably not typical for most gamers. That said, if I was using the recessed area, I don't imagine I would ever use the lights. I think it's an interesting feature, but not essential to my gaming experience.

Requiring an internet connection prevents these kinds of games from being played in a lot of configurations. Please provide a software allowing everything to be downloaded in advance i.e. chronicles of crime.

How does resetting work if you already have the solution?
@WatchItPlayed2 жыл бұрын
If you don't get a perfect score, then resetting would let you try again, to see if you can pursue nee leads and get a better score.
@robertbentley37342 жыл бұрын
@@WatchItPlayed Is this therefore just to experience other angles of the scenario for fun? If I got to the end of the orange zone and then reset, then what stops me answering the correct answers as soon as I hit green zone on the second go even if I couldn't possibly answer some elements based on the knowledge I had gained solely on the second play? In addition, would you recommend that you play all parts of the campaign once and only THEN go back to reset - or maximised each case as much as possible before moving to the next? TIA
@WatchItPlayed2 жыл бұрын
@@robertbentley3734 I've played some of the Detective scenarios (in the previous releases) multiple times, because after a few months, I don't remember the details (your memory might be better). I may have "some" recollection of small details, but often not most of it. It's hard for me to assess for someone else what their experience might be. For some, it may very well be that they play once, and then pass the game on to a friend.
