Julie Newmar's "Catwoman" portrayal...only 6 episodes. Yet, she's become as essential as Batman and Robin. She's usually at all the ComicCon's and other interviews. And while it was supposed to be "campy" she still managed to make her time memorable. And I think that's the one role she was most remembered for even though she did many other roles in film and maybe other TV shows. SHe's also an underrated beauty. Then and now. She's maybe the only celeb who to this day is still beautiful. Even at 80+. Usually most people start "falling apart" in their late 40's...who don't take care of themselves...Odd Julie never got the same fame as the sex symbols of the 60's-70's. e.g. Rachel Welch. Marlyn Monroe, Ann Margaret...I guess she didn't have the right people behind her to market her? I know she's always had her following..but it seems she never made it as big as the other "sex symbols"....Maybe it's because I never paid any real attention to her growing up. Except to remember her as one of many "beautiful actresses". She was/IS a classic beauty. Statuesque at 5'11. Yvonne Craig I think was 5'3.
