Green Lantern just runs horribly. It's older twin, Insane at Gröna Lund, is generally more well-received. Really depends on how a park operates their rides. Green Lantern could have run like Insane, but it seemed to want to hold off on it. In turn, the ride became less intense, more brutal, and less enjoyable. This is from a different manufacturer, and aims to strategically control the spin as opposed to Green Lantern's fully free movement. There are some strategic braking points on the vehicle's rotation that will ensure it tips and flips at the right points, and should prevent getting thrown completely into the restraints as Green Lantern does.

Not certain but I think 4D refers to the type of coaster known as X wing where the riders are on a pair of arms outside of the train.

crystalbeastinca no, you are mixing up a wing coaster by b&m, a 4d coaster does have them on the side of the train but the seats flip which started with x (now x2) made my arrow which is now s&s or bought out by it. also x wing is the name of a wing coaster in another six flag park. :) hoped this helped. oh and for the first comment, insane and green lantern were made my intamin, a similar layout how it goes under and over itself but this looks much, much larger cause the trains and track look a lot wider and its a lot longer too.

It's S&S's revised take on their 4D concept (used on X2, Eejanaika, and Dinoconda) and combining it with Intamin's ZacSpin free spin. The ride spins freely like the Intamin coasters, but uses a set of brakes at strategic points to ensure the ride vehicles will tip or flip, giving the ride some controlled elements like the original 4D rides.

My brain is dying seeing everyone complaining about how it copied Green Lantern. Green Lantern wasn't even the first Zac Spin. (and this isn't a Zac Spin) Also, Green Lantern's spinning is controlled by a computer, while this is completely free. It also has a very different layout. It is not a copy/rip off or whatever you want to call it.

Rode it twice yesterday. If you sit on the right-hand seat you'll face one way, and in the left-hand the opposite way. The side that faces the parking lot seems to not flip as soon as the side that faces the ride. The first ride gave me a headache and the second time made me feel sick to my stomach (about 2 hours in between the rides).

What's the difference with this attraction in Gröna Lund, Stockholm: Insane coaster at Gröna Lund Tivoli, Stockholm on preview day To me, this is exactly the same. The one in Gröna Lund is pretty great.

"4D" sure... There have been coasters with freely spinning seats for over a decade. Just with a different axis. And since in this one there aren't any curves, it's technically only a 2D movement. The free spin doesn't add another dimension.
