Batman (Theme) | The Flash (OST) by Benjamin Wallfisch

Michael Keaton's return as Batman decades after his last appearance in "Batman Returns" was actually the best thing about this movie. Bruce doesn't just make a cameo, but in the second and third act of the movie he properly becomes one of the protagonists and an active drive for the story.
Benjamin Wallfisch made a great job reprising Danny Elfman's theme for Batman, although I feel like he could have used it a bit more - and it's awesome to hear his theme during the action tracks "Batdoneon" and "Escape from Siberia" where Michael Keaton truly kicks ass like never before. In this video I collected the various reprises of the theme from the score and added a few more, like "Let's Get Nuts" and "I'm Not Going Alone", that despite not using the theme still feature Batman in the movie.

I'm not personally familiar with the Animated Series, but something that I like about Wallfisch's score is that he cared about the atmosphere of Batman. Some tracks, like "What Is This Place?" and "Into the Batcave" give a feeling of going back into the 80s, like a jump into the past - which is something that Elfman himself didn't make when he composed "Justice League" in 2017.

The Shirley Walker theme for Batman: TAS was based on the Danny Elfman 1980s theme.

@sithlordzach8418 it's Danny elfman's theme. Shirley Walker did the music generally but the main theme was his (based on his own theme for batman 89).

I haven't watched "Forever" and I'm not familiar with Goldenthal's theme, but it's a curious fact if it actually is true. Where was it used? Is it present in the score or only in the movie?

@@Tim_S_Lucas The theme is in both Batman Forever and Batman And Robin, it's on the opening titles, and I recall a track called "Descent". It's on The Flash's score but right now i can only think of "I Am Batman", prior to the grand Elfman motif. I also heard it in other scenes of the film tho

Loved the movie, still have no idea why it wasn't big box office? I did think at the time why aren't they calling it Batman: Flashpoint when I heard their just calling it The Flash? Would of sold more millions guaranteed! Calling it Flash from Flashpoint originally was a bad mistake, also a friend of mine thought it had something to do with that friggin' CW Arrowverse show Flash and she's a lil clued up on CBM's, have no idea what the general public thought? But yeah big mistake, should of been lots of Keaton promos and posters everywhere with the Batman theme, anyways totally loved it, best movie of the year easy! Great vid thumbs! ;)

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed The Flash on The CW but after about 4 or 5 seasons the storytelling started to get weak and cringey too sadly!

Where is the score for the batwing when Batman ejects from his seat while in Russian?

It hasn't been released, the score moves from "I Am Batman" to "Batdoneon" and the scene you mentioned should be right in the middle of these two. One thing that comes to my mind is, maybe they included for that scene a track directly from Danny Elfman's score for his Batman movies, and for that reason it couldn't be included in the OST - because it was an insert music from a different movie. Like in Star Wars, "Revenge of the Sith", they reused "Duel of the Fates" in the movie but you don't find it in the OST of Episode III, because it came from Episode I. I can't say that for sure, though, I don't know too well the score of the old Batman movies to confirm this.
