Tbh I’d prefer if the Batman 2 deals with the court of the owls. Set this a couple years after he becomes Batman, you can use the connection to Haley circus and the Grayson family to bring robin into the dceu

Kind of smacks of the "war on drugs" age though. Same with the issues of Captain America where he gets exposed to a drug called "ice" that piggybacks on his super soldier serum. The high never stops until he gets a blood transfusion, losing his powers. The idea being that Marvel thought the super soldier serum was promoting drug use.

To perfect his own production of the drug would've taken him time and research and in the meantime he was heavily addicted, he didn't have the patience to do all that. That's what addiction does to you, it makes you impulsive and it sure robbed Batman of his mental strength... well, almost.

What you think about that green liquid that Batman uses in climax fight of The Batman. It may be prototype for venom which increases the adrenaline level. He also lost little control of himself. But as you mentioned I doubt matt Reeves and WBD will go that dark especially how mature and dark The Batman movie is.

We are talking about the guy who knocks out the likes of Bane as a job. He regularly bodies heavyhitters with smarts alone. If he wanted to, he couldve found a way without killing those 2 dudes. Since its BATMAN, he couldve jumped into the boat and knocked the dudes out at the same time. He had enough thrust to LIFT A BOAT WHILE SWIMMING not to mention that the boat had 2 people inside, which means that he wouldve definitely been able to jump on the boat. There were oars on the boat he couldve used, and alfred was already in grabbing range. Besides, you really think batman couldnt have fought off the sharks with one of those oars? The dude fucking fist fights Darkseid and survives!

sorry but the only thing I don't like is the gritty voice of Christian Bale Batman when he's just Bruce Wayne. It's technically supposed to hide his real voice not be his real voice. The only gadgets I can think of that he'd have on hand is either explosives (which is a bad idea) or taking a rope or cable and tying it around the boulder. Then taking a grapple gun, tying the other end of the cable to it, and firing it at the wall.The retracting grapple line will pull the cable and the boulder. I really don't think he had time for all that.
